Michael began crafting copper in high school in the 1970's. By the 1980's, he was using antique tools and machinery in a log cabin to make 18th and 19th centtury metalware. Michael, along with his late wife Teresa, became world renowned for not only their work in the copper industry but also for their artwork in kitchens around the world.
Today, Michael is best known for his heirloom-quality copper cookie cutters. Michael has made cutters for Martha Stewart, Eddie Bauer, Williams-Sonoma, Walt Disney, the White House and other well known entities.
